Carlos Xavier (of Restoration Fellowship) invited me onto his channel to discuss Paul and Torah. It is often believed that Paul was the spearhead of an anti-Torah movement or agenda. It is sometimes believed that even Yeshua (Jesus) began this movement by teaching people to break the Sabbath or dietary law.
On the other hand you have people like me (those in the Torah Keeping Community, Hebrew Roots, Messianic Judaism) who believe that when Paul came to faith in Messiah he didn't forsake his Israelite heritage or the commandments he grew up in, and he continued to teach those commandments, not just to Israelites (or Jews) but to anyone from the nations who came to faith in Messiah.
What's the truth of the matter?
