Happy New Year - starting off the new year with what I am really into creating right now.
This is a 65-minute hypnagogic ambient live improvisation created with my modular drum eurorack, MicroFreak, soft synths on AUM, and pad-triggered sample loops via Koala iOS.
The tempo sits around 40 BPM, created to support focus, flow states, and the hypnagogic edge between waking and dreaming. My wife calls it ethereal techno.
Ideal for:
• studying
• deep work
• creative focus
• chores or background listening
• astral and psychedelic experiences
This was performed live with no arrangement or edits — allowing the rhythms, textures, and repetitions to evolve naturally over time.
