In Gujarat’s Mehsana division, GST rate reductions during FY 2025–26 have boosted both consumer affordability and market demand. Lower prices on agricultural products, electronics, automobiles, and dairy items increased purchasing power, while business activity expanded. Despite reduced GST rates, government revenue rose, with the division recording ₹2,160.71 crore from April 2025 to January 2026, an 8.54% growth from last year.
