After 3-4 years of lo-fi content here at 'Speechless' this striking realisation hit me last week after I found City Girl, a producer who's lo-fi songs shook me to my core.
As soon as I heard the song "Walking In The Rain To Cafe To Write Private Thoughts In Public" (first song of this mix) I thought to myself "wow, what a breath of fresh air in lo-fi genre of Music" where slowly but surely all the same used lo-fi samples start to blend in and everyday it get's harder to find something unique.
A wild thought approached me: could it be that it's a Woman's touch that's making such a song stand out of everything else so much..?
A week latter Speechy stands here before you, with a Lo-Fi Mix with only Women producers in it, and whether this thesis of mine is true or not - you can now answer yourself.. Cuz this Music simply speaks for itself..
I do believe not only Lo-Fi, but a whole Music Industry still is lacking.. oh so lacking for that balance between Men and Women Producers.. And so if you are a girl that has found this mix today and had a thought at some point to try producing - go for it girl.. We need you here, and you will do great!

And with that comes the biggest responsibility in life - to be a mother, to feel someone’s happiness, pain, fails, lessons, experiences, feeling of guilt and feeling of pride as your own and still be responsible to keep it safe with you and inside of you just again to be strong, just not for yourself, but for that someone. But who am I to talk about it..
To be a woman means to be loving. Loving everyone and everything. It’s not even in our blood - it’s our blood. Love is the most we have within us. We try to give and spread as much love as we possibly can sometimes even not realizing or trying to do that. At some point, I truly believe that our purpose in this world is all about love, what else would be a better one if you think better, ha?
To be a woman means to be passionate, empathic, truthful, sensible, supportive, kind, sympathetic, generous, persevering, accepting, adorable, ambitious, consistent, challenging, positive, professional, punctual, brave, capable, patient, charming, inspirational, and so much more that I still didn’t discover about myself. But you know, in the end, to be a woman is to be a human just like all of us. And to be even more precisely - TO BE YOURSELF.
