This year marks the 70th anniversary of the victory of the world's anti-fascist war and the establishment of the United Nations.
On Tuesday, the UN General Assembly held a special meeting to commemorate the victims of the war.
China's permanent representative to the UN delivered a speech at the meeting, saying the world anti-fascist war has taught people across the globe a good lesson and it deserves lasting remembrance.
