I drove Land Rover Defender 110 with snorkel on it in Iceland's Highland.
There are some river crossing on F210 and F206 where I drove. One is Holmsa river which is deeper than others in the area.
F210 winds by glacier, volcanic sandy section, and beautiful Mt Maelifell which is covered in green moss.
F210 has some river crossing and one the most scenery F road in Iceland.
Road is closed in winter.
F206 leads to Laki volcano. Laki is the famous dormant volcano which erupted in 1784.
also covered in beautiful green moss.
Two major river crossing and road is worse than F210.
but it's worth to visit Laki area.
Road is closed in winter.
F570 winds in western fjord around dormant volcanos, moss field, volcanic rocky section and lakes. No river crossing.
Road is open all year.
The Defender is made for those roads, and I have driven through without any problem.
