Complete Installation of My Chamberlain RJ020 Wall Mount Garage Door Opener-Same as Liftmaster 8500

Описание: A wall mount garage door opener is quiet and saves on headroom clearance compared to a ceiling mount door opener. I installed a Chamberlain RJ020 for my 8' x 10' - 2" thick insulated door Ideal garage door. Chamberlain RJ020 is the same as a Liftmaster 8500 and this video shows the complete installation of the unit. One item I've seen other people sometimes have trouble with is getting the cable tension monitor adjusted right. What I ended up doing as recommended by a professional garage door technician was to let off some spring tension to make the door heavier than a balanced neutral position. This keeps more tension on the cable so the tension monitor switch works correctly.
