Flight was 48 hours AFTER this screenshot was taken - no winds and safe conditions.
A quick DJI FPV drone flight to the edge of Lake Acworth - off in the very distance you'll also see a pinch of Lake Allatoona.
Lake Allatoona gained around 6' of elevation from the storm and the rains directly before the storm.
This is a couple days after Hurricane Helene. This particular location, Acworth, GA, was less than 50 miles WEST of the eye as it passed over North Georgia. As you can see - almost NO damage anywhere.
This illustrates how less than a 100 mile shift in a storm track can mean significant impact vs a cute little storm experience.
You can see the lake is dirty from run off - and a little high but definitely no flooding and no tree damage in the immediate area.
