808s have been one of the most used and abused building blocks in electronic music, from being used as kicks, as layers in a kick or as a kick/bass combination as it is quite common in some recent music.
In this video I discuss some of the possibilities Vital offers for making effective 808 style tuned kicks... just some, because there really is plenty, I doubt I have said anything revolutionary, but I hope I did give someone something useful.
