Not sure why everyone says to skip this city. There is tons to see here in Manila, in the Philippines. Some good, some not so good, there's definitely beautiful developments in parts of the city and also some parts where reality just hits different. We definitely did not expect Manila to be so built up. I'm not entirely sure what we were expecting, but we were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed this city!! So much that we even extended another 3 nights!
