The first battle lets us use Guo Huai, who has the arm cannon weapon. It's a pretty fun weapon, it's like wielding a one-handed Gatling gun. That also shoots explosions. And you can just bash people over the head with it. Guo Huai is the most awesome sick guy ever. Anyways, the stage has us rescuing Sima Zhao and the other Wei forces. Then we have a face off against Xiahou Ba.

The second battle lets us play as Deng Ai, who has the drill lance moveset. It's pretty damn strong, strong enough to make up for being kinda slow. Also most of its attacks will break guards naturally so it doesn't really matter if it gets blocked. The second battle is finishing where Guo Huai left off, defeating Jiang Wei and taking the main camp.

This is probably where a lot of people started to hate Xiahou Ba. Fair enough, for what little we see of Guo Huai he's pretty likable Jiang Wei wouldn't have shot him in the back if Xiahou Ba weren't there. I do however really like Deng Ai's reaction, and despite this I find Xiahou Ba to be a more interesting character than if he didn't defect..
