The Tirga Mhor — Scots-Gaelic for “Great Peak.” This Taran is exactly that: massive, powerful, and immersive. African Blackwood back and sides, Italian Spruce top, reclaimed Brazilian Mahogany neck, and Taran’s signature hot-sand aesthetic. Multiscale 25"–25.625". Huge, enveloping tone with incredible detail and saturation. A mythic, modern masterpiece.
Logan: Here's a good'un! Juicy trebles, dark and chocolatey mids, a bass register that feels muscular! but doesn't over power the mix. Prime material for the modern fingerstyle canon--Standard, DADGAD; even had fun dipping into C9 with the bass strings retaining good definition. Rory picked out a gorgeous set of African Blackwood (my favorite) for the back and sides, plus silk-smooth Italian Spruce on top. There's a smoothly-tailored immediacy and punch to the voice that gives this Taran a quickness and assertive power.
