At the end of this day, O heavenly Father,
I confess my sins, my faults, and my weaknesses.
I have sinned in my thoughts, in my words, and in my actions.
I am not worthy to be called Your child.
Lord, if You kept a strict record of all my wrongs,
I would not be able to stand before You.
But please have mercy on me,
according to Your great love and kindness.
Do not turn away from me.
Do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Instead, fill my heart with His holy guidance,
so that I may think, speak, and do what is right.
By Your grace, help me live this way today and always,
through Jesus Christ. Amen.
