This stuff is dangerous! Although the mill itself has all the dangers of a bandsaw, and the blade should be avoided due to obvious reasons, the most dangerous aspect of milling is log / cant handling. Please be careful! Working with bearings and pullers can create all kinds of forces and danger, I am not responsible for improper techniques!
This is the replacement of the drivewheel bearings....my other video is of the non driven wheel
Up today is my Woodland Mills HM126 bandsaw. It had a vibration when speeding up and slowing down. Something wasn't smooth. NEED 2 BEARINGS PER BANDWHEEL. 6305 2rs c3 rated
You need a BIG puller (hub grapple), harbor freight (or other) hub bearing kit, snap ring pliers and preferably an impact with appropriate sockets.
thread size for the center bolt is m10x1.5, which is popular on this mill for other things. I used bolt from the log uprights to help cinch the wheel back onto the spindle. Then a few taps from the sledge and it was on :)
