I used a Dentapreg aerospace grade glass fiber PFM strip with 10,700 individual fibers in each of these woven strips. Fully pre-impregnated with light cure-able composite resin on a molecular scale.
Dentapreg strips can be used for minimally invasive anterior or posterior bridges with little or no tooth preparation and are bonded to the teeth with a much easier production technique and better translucency than other popular fibre reinforcement systems.
I like them so much I was demonstrating Dentapreg at the Eurodontic ltd. stand at Dentistry Show 2014.

GC Gradia light-cured composite hybrid resin and some flow-able composite hybrid resin. Containing up to 82% micro-particle glass filler. Also some GC ever-X Posterior, full of glass fibres, used for extra reinforcement, and other items from the Gradia range of products. Composite can be used for all crowns, bridges, inlays and veneers and is highly bio-compatible and reacts like natural teeth.

To trim and polish I used rubber wheels and a diamond bur to detail and them a felt wheel with some of a pumice block to smooth and with Dura-Polish Dia diamond polishing paste by Shofu with a mop to bring it to a natural looking sheen.

I have been using composite for 29 years and have seen some bad products come and go in my life as a technician but no, composite has come of age.

Did you know, I was told, the majority of dental restorations in Japan are composite?

Composite has a micro-particle hybrid filler and is flexible, shock resistant, ideal for implants, and hard wearing but will not wear away your natural teeth, porcelain and zirconia can do awful damage.

Composite is fluorescent like natural teeth so will glow under Ultraviolet/black, club/disco, UV light, like natural teeth. The majority of porcelain looks black.

Aerospace grade constructive glass fibers/fibres like Dentapreg, Ribbond, Stick Tech and
GC's ever-X Posterior dentine/dentin used for strength and durability.

GC Gradia, a highly respected and well established composite, used that has micro-filled glaze that can also be polished for high stain resistance.

Composite is one of, if not the, most bio-compatible materials to use, acting very much like natural teeth - Imitating nature.

Consistent shades, built by hand for many layers, like natural teeth.

Made in a laboratory that uses environmentally friendly or vegan owned and run businesses.
