Our homestead in northern Ontario has abundant wildlife. It's part of why we live here. We love the outdoors, nature & wildlife. We've had a visitor hanging around who is getting too close for comfort. A black bear broke into our chicken coop and stole a bag of feed. Luckily, we caught him in the act and he left - only to return that night for seconds....
We'll be taking steps to further predator proof our chicken coop and our chicken run. We currently have 50 meat birds and 20 laying hens occupying the coop and run. We need to protect our food.
