The fight cost Ripple roughly $150 MILLION over four years, the SEC named Garlinghouse and Larsen PERSONALLY, and Garlinghouse says he met SEC officials FOUR TIMES between 2017 and 2019 without a lawyer and was NEVER warned XRP might be treated as a security! Regulation by enforcement at its absolute worst!

And here's the part they don't want you to forget! Crypto lawyer John Deaton says 75,000 XRP HOLDERS helped Ripple's executives resist the SEC's pressure campaign! Deaton entered the case as amicus representing holders, arguing secondary market XRP sales should NEVER have been treated like Ripple's institutional sales! Ripple's own deputy general counsel admitted the community's research saved the company MILLIONS in legal costs! Deaton is calling out the SEC's attempt to dig through Garlinghouse and Larsen's personal bank records as an intimidation tactic, and the court BLOCKED those subpoenas! Judge Torres ultimately ruled XRP itself is NOT a security! The XRP Army helped save Ripple, and now Ripple is one of the biggest companies in crypto!
