Macarona Béchamel
Beef mixture:
1 onion chopped
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp coriander
1/2 tsp cardamom
Pinch of nutmeg
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup tomato sauce for beef mixture
1/2 cup tomato sauce to mix with pasta
Beshemel sauce:
1 stick of butter
1/2 cup flour
5 cups milk
1/2 cup heavy cream
Salt to taste
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 eggs
Sauté the onions and garlic add the beef and spices brown the beef.
Cook the penne strain and set aside
To make the béchamel melt 1 stick of butter add 1/2 cup of flour whisk until flour has cooked about a minute.
Add the milk one cup at a a time I added 5 cups.
Bring to a boil and then let simmer the sauce should become thick. Set the béchamel aside and let cool.
Beat to eggs once béchamel has cooled down mix the eggs in
Start layering the ingredients one at a time in a dish in this order: sauce, pasta, beef, pasta, and last but not least pour the delicious béchamel sauce on top.
Set the oven for 375 degrees f for 45 minutes or until it becomes a little brown on top and bubbly.
Let the béchamel sit for some time to cool down and to help keep its shape while cutting into squares.
