For my 8,121st post I’m sharing my right of passage of being a Mercedes SL R230 DYI owner! No I didn’t loose all my dignity and converted to coil overs!😝😡😜thanks to @quiis55 for the tips on getting the solenoids off the block!🙏
Replacing all the o-rings and washers is easy peasy - it’s removing and valve block off the car was a PITA. No wonder why there are no clear and concise instructional videos out there. You need at least two camera men to document the process! The rear valve block is a lot easier but that is for another time. Found 2 o-rings and washer compromised causing the known left side droop after parking overnight.
As always I marvel at the tech from 2003 that allows this heaving pig dance around corners like a ballerina. #nocoiloversneeded #noco
