Leader: The earth shakes, the mountains quake—tempting our hearts to fear.
People: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Leader: Storms rage, winds swirl—destroying schools, hospitals, homes.
People: Still, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Leader: For those mourning and rebuilding after the storms,
People: God is their refuge.
Leader: For those who are suffering with illness,
People: God is their strength.
Leader: Therefore, we will not fear.
All: Therefore, we will be still and know that God is our rock and our salvation!

We believe in the one God, creator and sustainer of all things,
Father of all nations, the source of all goodness and beauty, all truth
and love.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, God present with us for guidance, for comfort, and for strength.
We believe in the forgiveness of sins, in the life of love and prayer, and in grace equal to every need.
