It seemed fitting that Nicholas K’s Nicholas and Christopher Kunz stormed into New York Fashion Week this morning, they traditionally open the event. Outside, nature was unleashing its fury, and inside, the duo mirrored the extremity.

Despite the bristle, Nicholas and Christopher didn’t forget their signature languid lean; it could be seen in leather wrapped dresses, long fireman coats with shearling lining, crushed velvet jackets, and flowing cutaway dresses.

The thought evoked as the siblings (and their new mascot, an adopted boxer mix named Barbosa) took their bow? Power to the Nicholas K people.
