India's Permanent Representative Ambassador T S Tirumurti while speaking at the UNSC Emergency Meeting on Ukraine said that if the situation is not handled carefully, it may undermine security of a region. "We call for an immediate de-escalation; situation is in danger of spiraling into a major crisis. The security of all parties should be taken into account", he further added.
