I made a custom board for using the ESP8266 Wifi chip with the Arduino Micro board. The ESP8266 is a very inexpensive Serial-to-Wifi board that can allow simple microcontrollers (such as the Arduino) to become IOT (Internet of Things) devices. This video shows a closeup view of the custom board that allows for both the Arduino Micro and the ESP8266 to be plugged in.
