The Ensoniq Mirage, 8bit , 128k memory and 320kb floppy disks! Mine is a Asia-Pacific example. I guess they took the idea of the soft touch keys from the DX-7. Plastic with no notable buttons.. but they hide a small hole that has a real (and replaceable) tact switch underneath (no broken membrane problems here).
I have been following The Daydream Sound on youtube for quite some time. His passion for Ensoniq gear, samplers and music creation is very addictive . Its has opened my eyes to what we lost in sampling over the year and how to use limitations of this vintage kit to add flavour , grit and get things to just sit in a mix!
