Travelling out of my hotel room to explore Bangkok, a ride along the rapid transit in Bangkok - the BTS Skytrain and Bangkok MRT, are an essential to get a fast and affordable ride to my destination. This moment could only get me rides along the original Siemens Modular Metro, throughout this rapid transit journey, along the original 3 train lines in Bangkok. To get from Chinatown from Pratunam, the first segment is a 1 stop trip along the Sukhumvit Line from Ratchathewi to Siam, the one and only transfer stop for both the Sukhumvit and Silom Line, where I continued my journey to Sala Daeng to transfer to the MRT Blue Line. With the Blue Line Extension, it made travelling to Chinatown easier by mass transit, where I ended my journey at Wat Mangkon, one of the stations part of the MRT Blue Line Extension.
