The Peter Karp Band
The Peter Karp Band is a super band formed by Peter Karp, a Nashville, Tennessee(USA) award-winning singer-songwriter, guitarist, pianist, and band leader. Peter Karp has carved out his own style in American music with his unmistakable lyrical songwriting style, consummate slide guitar and piano, and dynamic stage performances. Karp's style moves through the fiery genres of roots/blues music, giving birth to an original mix of sounds journalists have called "Americana-Blues-Rock with Soul influences". He is a remarkably rare talent in American roots music. His former band collaborations were with the legendary Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor of The Rolling Stones, international rocker Popa Chubby, and Austin blues guitarist Sue Foley.

His 2026 band features the superb Atlanta, Georgia, USA slide
guitarist Mark Johnson, formerly of the internationally and critically acclaimed touring band Delta Moon. The rhythm section consists of the exceptional brothers Marco and Paolo Xeres. Based in Lake Cuomo Italy, Marco and Paolo have played together for 40 years backing many famous musicians from all over the world, including Kenny Neal, John Mooney, Louisiana Red and Delta Moon. Karp calls this band lineup "the best I've ever played with." Peter Karp will be presenting his newest CD “Jersey Town.” Recorded in the USA.

“Jersey Town” captures with confrontational bluesy bluster the gritty, fierce birthplace where he honed his sublime storytelling skills and aggressive guitar chops. 11 original songs with universal themes of loss, love, murder, infidelity, faith, fate, and desperation. Songs with a musical attitude and swagger that can only reside in a place called “Jersey Town.”
