Leveraging state associations of service providers can be a powerful way to establish a network of providers supporting individuals and families with the services they need to build career pathways and economic mobility. State associations can mobilize, train and support multiple providers at once, across geographic areas, making the connections possible to create a robust, state-wide network of supportive services and employment and training. In this webinar hear how Alabama used a long-standing strategic partnership between the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers (ANFRC) and the Alabama Department of Human Resources (DHR) to build a powerful network of employment and training services. With support and funding from the state legislature and governor’s office, and continued partnership with DHR, ANFRC helped Alabama’s FRCs to expand existing services to TANF customers and create new SNAP E&T services.
