These lo-fi sound bites from radio and TV were made between 1970-72, while living in Panama's Canal Zone (Balboa). Scanning the AM dial, you heard SCN play a variety of programs from the American Forces Radio and Television Service. Lively accordion music filled the Panamanian airwaves. A few samples of the 2 Spanish television stations can be heard as well.
The original programs and slideshow photos (except for a few) belong to their respective owners and are presented here for entertainment and educational purposes.
