British Airways’ customers eligible to travel to India will now be able to upload negative Covid-19 test results and other required documentation directly via ‘Manage My Booking’ on ba.com.
Once uploaded, British Airways will check the documentation matches the entry requirements and will allow customers to check-in online for their flight 24 hours before they travel, avoiding airport queues.
The airline will be expanding this trial to include more destinations over the coming weeks and aims to add this functionality to its mobile app.
The trial runs alongside another British Airways’ trial of the health passport VeriFLY on flights to the US and Canada, alongside all UK inbound flights.
