My Latest Makes - January 2020

Описание: This week I'm sharing my latest makes and first bit of sewing for January 2020. A denim skirt, which I am hopelessly in love with created using Burda 6252 with some modifications to the design and pockets for personal preference and some interesting comments on pattern sizing. I used our gorgeous black denim fabric and jeans buttons and I am thrilled with the result. So thrilled in fact I want to make a million more. To pair with it and top up my handmade wardrobe generally I also made one of my favourite tried and tested patterns Kwik Sew 4069 in our John Kaldor Isabella wool jersey fabric in claret. This sewing pattern can be whipped up in just a few hours, is so easy to wear and is lovely and soft and cosy in this delightful wool jersey, which is available in a great range of colours. Both these garments will carry me all the way through to a UK Spring.
