Max Planck challenged the classical theory of physics about the energy of the radiation and suggested a revolutionary idea. This idea was so great that it not only solved the puzzle of the Black body radiation curve but also laid the formation of Modern physics. Let's find out the Planck Radiation Law.
Planck's quantum theory for black body radiation. When the intensity-wavelength curve was tried to be explained by Rayleigh and Jeans using Classical Physics, the effort went in vain. But Max Planck assumed an entirely new thing and explained the curve theoretically. He assumed the energy is quantized and the minimum energy radiated by an oscillating source is the product of the Planck's constant and the frequency of that oscillator.
