Join John Hughes, PGA Master professional of Instruction and Top 25 Instructor with Golf Tips magazine as he shows you how to overcome your nerves and hit a great tee shot every time off the 1st hole.
Follow a simple process to calm your nerves. Take deep breaths, in through your nose and out through your mouth. Do this until you can feel the extra oxygen your taking in calming you a bit. Once calm, pick a good target that is easy to see. Doing this allows you to envision your tee shot more clearly. Then follow your normal routine. The combination of relaxing with your breathing and determining a very clear target will allow you to swing freely and easily on the 1st tee.
