Meghann suffered devastating loss in her mid teens, she was just 15 when her brother Marcus died in a road traffic accident and a year and a half later, her father passed away, after a long illness. These experiences shaped her understanding of grief, attachment, relationships how these aspects of growth and expansion, influence each other.

A multimedia broadcaster and journalist, Meghann studied Irish and New Media at the University of Limerick and did a Masters in Journalism at NUI Galway, before launching a dynamic career in radio and television. She has worked with SPIN South West and Classic Hits, has written extensively, across print and online outlets and hosts her own podcasts, including Meghann Meets, where she celebrates people and place, with warmth and curiosity.

In this interview we talk about grief in all its forms, not least disenfranchised grief, attachment styles, faith, meditation and the ongoing work of healing, including how she has maintained a practice of gratitude, even in the toughest chapters of her life. Meghann also shares her hopes and dreams for the future, how relationship break up and change, have influenced her sense of self and why continual inner-work, matters.

We also dive into road safety advocacy, where her personal investment and involvement, give voice to proposals and ideas, that could save lives and shift culture.
