Northeast Ohio Forecast: Extreme cold arrives with snow chances

Quick burst of snow showers will disrupt travel through Saturday afternoon. The first of several cold front will arrive by the afternoon. The progression of the front will produce intermittent gusty snow squalls. Be prepared for rapid drop off in visibility.
Temperature will hover in the low 30s through lunchtime before colder air wraps in. Expect temperatures to fall through the 20s during the afternoon and bottom in the teens by midnight.
The best news this weekend will be morning sunshine by daybreak Sunday. Temperatures will remain in the teens all day.
It will get colder.
Another reinforcing shot of Arctic air will arrive late Sunday into early Monday. This will introduce real bitter cold air from Monday into Tuesday.
