In this episode, we return to the La Cimbali Microcimbali — a true vintage espresso underdog.

This ep. is some more quiet tinkering: stripping down the boiler of this espresso machine, tackling decades of limescale and corrosion, and hopefully addressing this metalic taste given from contaminants in the boiler. In some ways it feels like going backwards, but cleaning the boiler is such an important step towards better tasting coffee. I'm not sure you can look to this as a "How to" video - it's just a satisfying process to watch (at least to those that enjoy watching dirty stuff getting cleaned!)
