WAFFLES & FRITES In BRUSSELS + Visiting Family at Home!

Описание: We had the BEST DAY in Brussels eating Belgium food for the first time, including Liege Waffles, Belgium Waffles and Brussels Frites (or fries)! Plus, not only was the food delicious, but the sights across the city made a great first impression.

Before we dive into our Brussels Belgium travel vlog though, we have to catch you up on where we’ve been the last two weeks.

After leaving Amsterdam, we flew to Las Vegas for Ashley’s birthday present. If you saw our Santorini video, then you already know I gifted her tickets to see the Jonas Brothers in Vegas. The concert was so much fun and a great way to start our visit back home in the states – Ashley was so incredibly happy!

Then, we flew home to Dallas, Texas to visit family for a week. While home, we HAD to go to the State Fair of Texas to try the new fried foods and old classics, including a Fletcher’s Corny Dog and Deep-Fried Oreos! The State Fair of Texas is a BIG DEAL for us and our family so we were happy to be able to attend this year.

Next, we flew to Tennessee for a week to be present for the birth of Ashley’s baby niece in Chattanooga, TN. But first, we stopped in Nashville to see the Kacey Musgraves exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame. We love Kacey Musgraves’ music, so that was a must-visit after landing in Nashville, before driving to Chattanooga.

After spending time with family and seeing that sweet little baby, it was time to head back to Europe. We flew to our next country of Belgium to kick off our Winter travels through Europe on our around the world trip!

We really enjoyed our first day in Brussels and especially loved all the delicious BELGIUM FOOD! In the next one, we explore even more of the best things to do in Brussels.
