KART FAILURE!? FINAL ROUND OF THE SEASON: CLUB 100 Junior Round 10 Buckmore Park

Great final day at Buckmore park for the last round of the club 100 season:

Here is how it went:

Qualifying went really well, got some good laps in and managed to get a great lap without any slipstream.

Starting P3 I got punted out of the way on the first corner down to around 6th or so but managed to get back into second by making a great switchback on those infront at hairpin one. Had a great battle with @georqe_palmer_mobsby all race but he managed to hold me off with some amazing defence and I crossed the line in P2 and managed to set the fastest lap of the day 🟣

Feeling hopeful for the Final I got a decent start and only dropped down to 3rd but quickly managed to get back into P2, I was chasing down George, hoping for another great battle but all of a sudden my kart cut out going down the hill losing me 2nd and 3rd to @loganmcalister_racing and @frederic._.navarro I needed to Finish behind George in P2 to secure P3 jn the championship, so I got my head down and pushed as hard as I could setting the fastest lap of the race 🟣. I managed to get back past Fredrick a few laps later and managed to catch back up to Logan but sadly a full course yellow came out.

Going onto the last lap of the season it went green, and I got a rubbish getaway but I knew I had to overtake Logan to get P3 in the championship, so I saw a chance at hairpin two as Logan was on the outside of George and a managed to get past, and all I had to do was white line it for the last few corners and came across the line in P2 and P3 in the championship by one point ☝️

Absolutely brilliant day of racing, enjoyed every second of it. I want to say thanks for @club100racing for putting on a great season of racing and I am looking forward to next year!

I also want to say thank you to all of the amazing friends I’ve made this year, it’s been a pleasure to race with you guys!
