Area62 – Ascension Drift is not a vision of the future.
It is a document from a parallel ascent—
a world that cannot be reached by extending the present.

In this work, sound is no longer treated as a product of linear time.
Instead, it functions as a transversal shift,
sliding sideways into a neighboring reality.

The mechanized 16th-note pulse is not tempo.
It is the boundary grid between worlds—
a mesh over which tones drift, resisting gravity, inertia,
and every familiar law rewritten by a slight offset in physics.

The long-tone electric guitar is not emotion.
It is resonance leaking from an alternate timeline,
a trace of a feeling that does not belong to “now,”
fading as it crosses into this world.
