Land Rover is currently testing the all new Freelander under camouflage, and based on the latest spy photos we believe that it will look very similar to these renders.
The new crossover is expected to be built in collaboration with the Chinese automaker Chery, built on Chery’s E0X platform.
According to Chinese automotive media, the Freelander may receive a hybrid powertrain with up to 560 hp and all-wheeldrive.
In terms of design, the new model is very similar to the current Defender, but more compact, primarily in height.
It features the well known hidden windshield pillars with a slight slope, slim headlights, and much narrower side windows, while the door handles are push-button. The rear end features horizontal taillights and a massive rear door.
