The second part of our visit to Pelling in Sikkim i.e. on 13 October, 2025. The day was cloudy since morning and Kanchenjungha was not visible throughout the day as such we could not get the view from either the Glasswalk or from Rabdentse Palace Ruins. Even though the view from all around was absolutely breathtaking. I also had a long conversation with one of the senior Lamas of Pemayangtse Monastery, a portion of which only is shown in this video. Someday I shall upload the complete conversation with the Senior Lama of how a Monastery works. Apart from conducting daily prayers there is role to bring up young monks and train them as well. The Sidekeong Bird Park and the Rabdentse Ruins, which is a Heritage site as well, must be in the itinerary of those visiting the western part of Sikkim.
