The Haven at RiverLights Covered in Snow | Wilmington NC Drone Footage

Описание: As a rare snowstorm moved through Wilmington, I put the drone up at sunset to capture what The Haven at RiverLights , the community where I live, looked like during one of the most unusual weather events the area has seen in decades.

This footage shows conditions in The Haven, a neighborhood within the larger RiverLights community. RiverLights spans a much wider area, but this video is limited to what I could safely capture from this specific section during the storm.

Snow like this is extremely rare along the North Carolina coast, and seeing a coastal community blanketed in snow at sunset was something many residents had never experienced before. The goal of this video is simply to document a historic moment and show what it looked like from above as it was happening. It is a straightforward snapshot of a rare Wilmington snow day, captured in real time.
