So I was messaged and asked should you run 87 or 93 octane gas in your car. The short answer is it is 100% ok to run regular gas in your focus st. You will lose power of course but that is the only major drawback. Now I do not suggest you solely use 87 octane in your car. Nor do I think you should use it too often but on occasion it is totally fine.
I personally only run 93 or premium octane gas in it and love every minute of it. Knock or ping is not really something you need to worry about running 87 or regular octane gas in your focus st.
