Can't believe it's been a month!
Major update from the park 🌳
✅ Amazing progress: Incision nearly/fully closed, 10k steps daily!
🚶♂️ Walking: Faster now - no more penguin waddle!
💪 Back at work: Feeling more normal each day
🏴 Wales trip: Leaving next week - fingers crossed!
Morning scare: Found yellowy-brown gunk (exudate) during cleaning - turns out it's normal healing discharge, not infection! 😅
Still being cautious but SO much better than weeks 1-3.
From barely walking to 10k steps daily is incredible progress despite all the complications!
Anyone else get worried about normal healing signs?
Off to Wales next week - wish me luck! 🤞
