This is the final and part 3 of our first family trip to Goa in December 2024 with our 1 year old baby. It was an amazing pleasant experience to spend time in Goa with my family.

How to reach Goa:
Goa is well connected with most of the Indian cities by Air, Train and Road. So anyone can pick their travel mode according to their choice.

If you plan to explore South Goa and you are coming via aeroplane then Dabolim airport would be a better choice. If you are coming via train then Madgaon railway station is near to South Goa, so you should deboard there.

If you plan to explore North Goa, then Mapusa airport would be a better choice, however both the airports are in Goa itself, but if you are coming via train then Thivim railway station is where you should deboard for North Goa.

We stayed in south Goa only, as our plan was to only relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of Goa far from the chaos.

During our 4 days we stayed in 3 different hotels, initially there was a plan to stay in a single property for all 4 days, but due to some reason we couldn’t make it happen.

If you want to visit and enjoy Goa with children then south Goa should be your choice, you will be surprised to know just how much it has to offer for children.

Please take a quick sneak peek into our Itinerary as follows:

Day 1 - Arrived in Goa and took a cab from Dabolim airport to reach our hotel. We stayed in The Woodside Inn Hotel in Benaulim, near Taj Exortica. It is a nice property with good rooms and the best staff. We had a wonderful stay there.

We rented a two wheeler to explore the nearby places, and our hotel manager also helped in getting the best conditioned scooter at a reasonable rate. We rented a new Yamaha Fassino for 600 INR/Day.
We went to Benaulim beach in evening and spent time there and had our dinner at the Roger’s

Day 2 - We had a very good quality breakfast in our hotel The Woodside Inn, after that we checked out and moved to our next stay, which was also located in Benaulim.

We stayed in La Grace Resort, it is also situated in Benaulim and one of the best resorts for staying on a budget in this locality. It has a variety of room options like apartments, villa etc. Rooms are quite spacious, clean and well maintained. It is also very near to the market and beach.

In the afternoon we begin our ride to Butterfly Beach, then from Butterfly Beach take a boat ride and go to Honeymoon Beach, After that we headed toward Cabo De Rama view point to experience the sunset. But unfortunately we got a little late and reached there after sunset. However we enjoy the great food at The Cape Goa restaurant. After dinner we headed back to our resort at night.

Day 3 - From Day 3 to Day 5 we stayed in the Planet Hollywood Resort, located in Utorda. It is a very good property and also has direct access to the beach. It is one of the best luxury stays in south Goa with great amenities, services, food, etc. Very good for childrens and I highly recommend that if you are travelling with a kid and want a luxurious, peaceful stay then you should check for this resort once.

All of our stays were very good and family and kids friendly. But Planet Hollywood would be our best pick among all our stays. It is built in around 12 acres and also has a huge swimming pool, kids play area, garden etc.
