Sengoku Basara 2 HD - Kenshin Uesugi | Story Mode

Описание: Here we play as Kenshin, returning from SB1. And he was WAY worse to play as than I was expecting. Like seriously. His S-string and a lot of his specials all have one horrible problem. He HAS to finish his sheathing animation before he can do anything else. So you'll see me do his attacks, and then just stand there as an enemy winds up a hit because he can't dodge right away. This isn't a problem with other characters like Masamune or Yukimura who can react immediately, meaning that everyone but the slower characters have a better reaction time than Kenshin. To top it off, his stats are pathetic. He has DPS but that's about it. His defense and HP are pitifully small and you can get killed very quickly as him. His Basara hits like a truck, and that's nice, but it also doesn't last long so you likely will still have to deal with an enemy boss's Sengoku Drive even if you activate it after the boss does. I really did not enjoy playing this guy. Can't wait to get my hands on Mitsunari again in SB3 to play a good Iaido style character.

Anyways, his first stage is unique and the reverse of Shingen's. You fight the Takeda and are supposed to protect your allies until enough time passes. I don't even try to bother. You have to fight Yukimura, Sasuke, and Shingen here, Shingen being the boss.

2nd stage is Masamune's stage that we've seen a few times now.

3rd stage is a defensive battle against the Oda. This is what I'd say is the hardest stage in the base game. You have 3 bases to protect with endless enemy reinforcements coming to smash them. As the battle goes on, Noh, Ranmaru, and finally Nobunaga will come to attack. The playable officers will sometimes attack your allies and not go directly after the bases, but if they start attacking them it'll go down fast. The bonus is for keeping all of them safe, but I never managed to achieve it as the two characters that have this stage BECAUSE THEY BOTH SUCK and just cannot keep up with the onslaught in time. Fortunately, you don't lose if all the bases are destroyed, Nobunaga just laughs at you.

4th stage is the cannon version of Hanbei's stage. It's actually got something unique, because once we reach Hanbei, Shingen will show up out of fucking nowhere to help fight him. It was a pretty hype moment.

5th stage is another unique stage for Kenshin, where we fight the Takeda. It's basically the reverse of Shingen's final stage. Just like Shingen's version, there are endless reinforcements in the center that won't go away until we defeat Sasuke and Yukimura. Except the Takeda field a ton of Onimusha guys, which I still say are less dangerous than the ninjas. Finally, we have a fight against Shingen to end the battle.
