PRS SE Standard 24-08 Unboxing and Tones Demo

Описание: *UPDATE* I have since traded this guitar for the PRS SE CE 24. I plan on doing a video on that guitar, comparing it to the PRS CE 24. I still think this guitar sounds great and is a great guitar, it was just time to move on from it, as I wasn't playing it.


Running through as many possible tones as I can with the PRS SE Standard 24-08 in Translucent Blue. I absolutely love this guitar and love how incredible these pickups sound. I typically play the CE24 (my go-to guitar), but I'm also a big fan of the SE line, especially over the recent years. After trying out the SE Std 24-08, I had to have it. The switching system is absolutely perfect for what I'm used to in the CE24. I much prefer the two toggle switches over the 5 way blade with the push-pull tone control. This guitar feels and sounds great!

My apologies with some of the noodling with the delay and reverb...it sounded a bit muddy and busy after I listened to it, but I didn't feel like re-recording it, as this was my 3rd take and I was already happy with how the rest was sounding, so I appreciate everyone's patience and understanding.

My rig used in this video is all the Kemper. The profile I'm using is a Morgan AC20. The boost is supposed to emulate the xotic fx ep booster and the OD is that of a fulltone OCD. I used mostly a 1/4 note delay as well as a dual delay utilizing *1/8 + 1/4 note delay. Reverb is a Cirrus reverb with different mix levels to go from simple to pretty ambient. I added an octave effect to the swell patch to give it some shimmer as well. Appreciate the views! Thanks!
