On 5th and 6th October 2013 Extreme Academy hosted the fifth British Stand Up Paddleboard Association (BSUPA) National Championships at Watergate Bay. Over the two day event 53 SUPs from around Britain, Australia and Hawaii competed to become the 2013 National SUP Champion. Competitors from as young as 11 had 20 minutes per heat and a maximum of 12 waves to impress judges with their SUP wave riding skills.
