In 2017 Argyle Villa was renovated by building and design extraordinaire Deon De Wet. The house was originally a pokey dark 3 bedroom.

After Deon did his magic, the house has transformed into a large five en suite bedroom, two storey villa. There is a separate one bedroom apartment at the side of the house.

Deon wanted the swimming pool to double up as a place to exercise as well as making the 12 meter lap pool an amazing feature of this modern designer home.

The living area, outdoor area, pool, main and 2nd bedroom offer fantastic views over the best Camps Bay has to offer, the ocean and the Twelve Apostles.

This expansive villa makes it possible for a large group of friends or family to spend an unforgettable time together. Cooking in the spacious, open plan kitchen, sun bathing on the loungers, swimming, having a BBQ, long, lazy lunches and dinners inside or outside etc.

Yet, there are secluded spaces in the house where guests can work, rest and have private time. There is a office upstairs with a desk and printer. As well as a TV and PlayStation. So work from home in the day and an escape for the kids in the evening.

We recommend chefs, babysitters, chauffeurs, personal trainers, pilates teachers, au pairs, tutors etc. You can even have someone stay in the one bedroom apartment to be on call 24/7.

Camps Bay is known for it’s cold water, the wind sweeps over the icy Atlantic ocean and chills the pool water. But this year Argyle Villa changed ownership and the new German owners have opted for a heated pool.

They have also installed a German TV decoder and German TV can be arranged at an extra cost.

True to German efficiency, they are not taking any chances with the unstable South African power supply. They are removing the house off the grid. This will mean 24/7 electricity when there are power outages. There are also solar panels, onsite staff with an internal intercom system, excellent security and all the modern features you will need.
