Brie Larson is set to star as the MCU’s next big superhero and right off the bat comic book fans took notice of her seeming lack of interest in the character and these negative impressions culminated in her posting a photo on Instagram with the caption “Thinking about Stan. What a legend R.I.P.” after the great Stan Lee passed away in November. While the sentiment was good, many fans felt her need to make the tribute all about her, her mix drink and her custom handbag a bit insensitive to say the least. She quickly deleted the post. Larson has a history of social media gaffes but honestly upsetting the comic book community isn’t enough to put a dent in a MCU films box office these days.
