These three bands from Brittany were in Glasgow to participate in Piping Live! and the World Pipe Band Championships. Bagad Cap Caval competed in the Grade One competition and were placed 11th in the Qualifier. Bagad Brieg were placed 3rd in the Grade Two Final and took the Grade Two World Drumming Championship. Bagad Vannes-Melinerion, making their first visit to Glasgow, were placed 12th in the Grade Two Final.
